Another concept album.

If I ever had a sparkling disco-pants, cocaine, and DMT era, this would be it.

I began writing these in 2001 and then worked them into something on the Korg Triton workstation, but the ideas only got completed in 2003 when I had plans to gig them. Somehow the masters survived the great computer crash of 2004 where I lost almost everything migrating to a new machine.

Prepping them for gigs, I had only worked with bands before. So at first, I tried out a female singer but she didn't work out, and then it was ready to go before I could find any other willing participants.

So, I did a gig singing without a guitar or a band as a prop and with a more dance feel to the songs than I was used to - I played 'La Coca' and it was terrifying. The sound on stage was awful, and I clung to the mike-stand in desperate fear. Though some people did dance, being solo on stage wasn't something I was used to. Along the way I lost confidence in the idea, and they got shelved until finally being remastered in 2019.
